It endeavours to provide Mental Health Services such as Counseling, Psychotherapy, Emotional Intelligence Coaching. Some people call this ability survival instinct; some name it 'gut feeling' or willpower. Whatever it be called, there is something innate in us that drives us to understand things in a certain way, act as per what works for us and push ourselves to work on issues and make things rig

ht. It is this power that lies at the heart of our being and self-exploration. During challenging times we need to remember that we possess the power to explore, resolve, and change to become better than we already are. While most of the time, you are able to remind yourself of this power, there will be times when you will require the help to remind you of the same. Hence, at I'm Powered, we work towards helping you cope with the struggles that interfere with your goals, relationships, and overall sense of well-being by helping you discover your inner strength. We need to believe and allow ourselves to use our innate capabilities to grow and evolve. About DAMINI GROVER

Even before being a trained psychologist, I always found myself interacting and engaging with people –teaching, offering advice, suggestions, solutions or sometimes just sharing perspective to ease things out and bring some clarity into the picture. Hence, choosing Psychology came naturally. I graduated in Psychology from the renowned Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University and further, did my Masters in Counselling Psychology from Amity University, Noida. Soon my interest in Psychology turned out to become my passion. Counselling for me is not just about offering solutions. Instead, it is a journey embarked upon by the individual and counsellor, into a sea of in-depth exploration and emotional awareness. In this journey, the counsellor supports the individual to understand his/her own emotions and thought processes to make informed decisions and choices. I, at ‘I'M Powered’, try to help you explore through these and empower you with the tools needed to deal with the challenges, problems, pressures and hassles in your life. I believe that, "We all have the power to be empowered" and hence go by the vision and name of 'I'm Powered'.

"And despite how terrifying boundaries can feel, they are still one of the most self-reclaiming things you can do for yourself because eventually something shifts.

You start sleeping better, breathing easier, feeling safer within yourself. You stop disappearing in relationships. You stop carrying emotional loads that were never yours to begin with, and you stop over-performing for love and approval, and slowly, you begin returning to yourself."

"And perhaps this is where things begin to break apart because all your life you are taught to look outside of yourself. You look at what others are doing, creating, achieving, becoming, and somewhere along the way, you start feeling smaller, lesser.

You are always behind, not enough, not worthy.

But do you ever stop and question why?"

The scariest part? When you stop feeling… and call it “normal.”

A lot of Gen Z isn’t “cold” or “unbothered”… they’re emotionally anesthetized.
After heartbreak, childhood chaos, abandonment, loss, or growing up in environments where emotions didn’t feel safe… the mind learns one thing: feel less, survive more.

And slowly, happiness feels flat. Pain feels distant. Achievements feel “okay.”
You laugh, dance, show up, post, perform… but inside, it’s just silence.
Not because nothing matters… but because feeling once hurt too much.

When “I’m fine” becomes the mask you wear the most.

Emotional masking doesn’t always look dramatic.
Sometimes it looks like being the “easygoing” one… the one who smiles, adjusts, stays calm, and never asks for too much.

But underneath that mask can live a quiet fear of disappointing people, being misunderstood, or feeling like your emotions are “too much.”
What others call strength… might sometimes just be survival.

A lot of people think healing is about finding the “perfect routine” or doing everything right.

But mental health usually improves through smaller, consistent things that help you feel safer, more regulated, and more connected to yourself.

And sometimes, the hardest part of healing isn’t learning more.
It’s slowing down enough to actually sit with yourself.

What’s something that genuinely helped your mental health?

"You carry this enormous strength within you, this ability to somehow deal with whatever comes your way. Crisis? You’ll handle it. Emotional meltdown? You’ll manage it. Something falling apart? You’ll figure it out, and because you do it so well, people around you start believing that maybe you don’t really need much help. They see you’ve got it together, but little do they know the roller coaster of anxiety and fear you’re constantly on."

Check below to understand how to get out of the co-dependency loop ↓

• Start identifying your own needs instead of constantly prioritizing others. Your feelings matter too.
• Learn to set healthy boundaries without guilt. Saying “no” does not make you selfish.
• Stop seeking validation through fixing or rescuing people. Your worth is not based on how much you sacrifice.
• Build emotional independence by reconnecting with your hobbies, friendships, goals, and self-identity outside the relationship.

A co-dependency loop can slowly make you lose yourself while trying to hold on to others. Over time, it creates emotional exhaustion, anxiety, resentment, low self-worth, and unhealthy attachment patterns. What feels like “love” can sometimes actually be fear of abandonment, people-pleasing, or emotional dependence.

Healing begins when you choose yourself too. 🤍

Most people think therapy is about “talking.”
But it’s actually about understanding yourself in ways you probably never have.

It’s not just about what you feel,
it’s about why you feel it
and what you can do with it.

Here’s what therapy really helps you do:

* Help you regulate your emotions
* Help you understand your patterns
* Help you make sense of your thoughts
* Help you separate fear from reality
* Help you respond differently, not just react

Over time, it’s not about becoming a different person.
It’s about becoming more aware, more grounded, and more you.
