A 30-year-old woman with severe abdominal pain during periods had only temporary relief with painkillers. Sonography revealed bilateral ovarian chocolate cysts measuring 6 cm and 4 cm, associated with endometriosis.
After thorough evaluation, laparoscopic surgery was planned. The cysts were removed, adhesions were separated, and normal pelvic anatomy was restored.
Today, the patient is significantly better, with improved daily life and relief from her previous symptoms. πΈ
Persistent or severe period pain deserves proper evaluation. Early diagnosis can help in choosing the right treatment.
