🇬🇧 During the past week, Aġenzija Sedqa within the FSWS attended the FHRD conference. Numerous speakers delivered the latest developments in tackling substance use among employees. Through this conference, we were able to share and discuss our varied experiences within the field, which will help us to improve our services and ensure.
During the event, Sedqa promoted its S.A.F.E. (Skills for Addiction-Free Employees) programme, a substance abuse prevention initiative tailored specifically for workplaces. Businesses were able to explore how collaboration with Sedqa can positively impact the well-being of their employees.
We were delighted to meet everyone who visited our stand and took home a variety of freebies. A special thanks to FHRD for providing this great opportunity.

Last week, two Prevention Professionals from Aġenzija Sedqa attended the 17th EUSPR Conference in Dublin, bringing together professionals working in prevention research and practice across Europe. The conference provided an opportunity to explore innovative approaches to prevention and the importance of health equity, while engaging in workshops, poster presentations and professional discussions. The participation also offered a valuable platform to share Malta’s award-winning prevention programmes and best practices, while strengthening knowledge and collaboration within the European prevention community.

As the annual meeting of the International Society for the Study of Behavioral Addictions (ISSBA), the conference brings together international experts, researchers and practitioners to share the latest research, knowledge and developments in behavioural addictions.
This participation provides a valuable opportunity to exchange expertise, strengthen professional networks and enhance evidence-based practice, contributing to the continuous development of prevention and treatment provision.
