A hard badminton session can leave the calves, thighs, shoulders and lower back sore the next day. Normal post-exercise soreness often improves gradually, and light movement may feel better than remaining completely inactive.
Sharp pain, increasing swelling, instability or pain that changes how you walk or swing should not be treated as ordinary soreness.
Good sports recovery restores movement, addresses overload and prepares the body for the next session.
