NEW ON NEKAWA INNER WORLD

Two new stories have arrived this week, each created to help children navigate some of the big feelings that can sometimes feel difficult to explain.

WHEN THiNGS CHANGE
A gentle story for children experiencing life’s transitions. Whether it’s moving house, changing schools, friendship changes, family changes, or simply adjusting to something new, this story helps children understand that change is a natural part of growing and that they are never alone in how they feel.

STICKY FEELINGS AND STCK FEELINGS
For those moments when worries, hurt feelings, disappointments, or difficult experiences seem to cling on long after they’ve happened. This story gently reminds children that feelings don’t always need to be pushed away. Sometimes they simply need kindness, patience, and time to soften.

Both stories are now available inside NEKAWA Inner World, our growing collection of children’s audio stories designed to support emotional resilience, self-awareness, confidence, calm, and healthy emotional development through imagination and storytelling.

Sometimes it’s not that you “can’t do it.”
It’s that your nervous system no longer feels safe to access the version of you that can.

You might notice:
- overthinking everything
- feeling stuck despite trying hard
- confidence disappearing under pressure
- emotional exhaustion
- knowing what to do… but not being able to access it consistently

A mindset coach isn’t there to “fix” you.
Sometimes the work is about creating the conditions where clarity, calm, confidence and forward movement can naturally return.

At NEKAWA, mindset work is approached through the nervous system, subconscious patterns and the body NOT just motivation alone.

Sometimes healing doesn’t begin with “moving on.”
Sometimes it begins with allowing yourself to look forward again.

There are moments in life where the past can feel louder than the present. Old experiences, relationships, regrets, fear, overwhelm or even versions of ourselves we no longer recognise can keep pulling our nervous system backwards.

But forward movement doesn’t always mean forgetting.
It can simply mean creating enough safety within yourself to take the next step.

At NEKAWA, I often work with people who feel emotionally stuck, mentally exhausted or unable to fully reconnect with who they are becoming. Through nervous-system aware approaches, hypnotherapy and subconscious work, the goal isn’t to erase the past - but to help the mind and body stop living there.

It’s okay if you’re not fully “over it.”
You are still allowed to move towards your future.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums out there… and to those I’m lucky enough to spend part of today with. 💛

Motherhood carries so much… strength, softness, worry, love, resilience and endless giving often all at once.

My own mum is on the other side of the world, but never far from my thoughts. Some connections don’t lessen with distance… they simply travel differently.

Wishing you a day filled with whatever you need most today - connection, laughter, rest, reflection… or simply a quiet moment to yourself. 💛

Beneath what we see… there is structure.

Posture.
Joint spacing.
Muscle patterning.

Over time, the head often moves slightly forward… the shoulders round… and certain muscles begin to overwork while others switch off.

This isn’t just ageing.

It’s adaptation.

And when we begin to bring awareness to these patterns… the body often responds.

Not through force, but through release.

I’ve been working a lot with necks recently…
and noticing the subtle shifts that happen over time.

Not just in how we look —
but in how we hold.

The jaw.
The throat.
The front of the body.

This area carries more than we often realise.

And what we sometimes call “ageing”…
is often the body adapting to years of holding.
