Did you know your nervous system is conditioned from the womb and established within the first 7 years of your life.
Life events either large or small and the kind of care you recieved from those responsible for you set up how your nervous system acts and responds in the world.
This 'set up' can cause havoc for us. Anxiety, OCD, phobias, fears and lack of self love all stem from these early years. These feelings can control how we are in the world and make life very difficult for us.
These 'Root Causes' can both be discovered and healed using new somatic trauma therapy techniques like RCT Root Cause Therapy N.Z.
I trained in this technique because after 20 years of talk therapy trying to heal my 'anxious attachment style' and the way in which I was unconsciously drawn to narcissistics I kept repeating the same patterns.
I could cognitively understand why I was like the way I was but talking about it didn't change my unconscious responses that constantly landed me in the same situations.
RCT is completely different we don't even go into the 'story' we simply test the nervous system to find what is lying below the surface, then safely and carefully release the emotion attached to the first event which caused the glitch.
Then afterwards the way our system acts and responds changes permanently we are no longer drawn to situations and people who harm us. Life becomes more easeful and we feel more centred in who we truly are.
I am now a fully certified RCT Root Cause Therapy N.Z therapist and I also teach my clients simple EFT tapping and grounding techniques for everyday nervous system regulation.
When we are regulated we become better mothers, partners, employees and our physical health improves.
