This Sunday is World Music Day 🎶

Here are a few ways you can use it as inspiration to make memories with your tamariki:

1️⃣ Get out some pots and pans, and have fun making music together as a whānau
2️⃣ Close the curtains and have a dance party in the lounge, dance like nobody’s watching

Heading to Fieldays? Enjoy a stress-free journey and catch the bus - it's free, and the kids will love it 💚

Free parking is available at Cambridge BMX Club (corner of Milton and Lamb St) - park your car and catch the bus directly to Fieldays and back.

Buses depart from Cambridge BMX Club every half an hour from 7:00am to 11:00am (plus 11:30am, and 12:00pm on Saturday only).

And for the return trip, the bus departs Gate 1 at Fieldays every half an hour from 1:00pm to 5:30pm 😊

Park & Ride is the way to go this Fieldays 🚌

Across Wednesday and Thursday, our free buses carried 7,334 passengers, helping take an estimated 2,934 cars off the road and avoiding around 30,137kg CO₂e.

We’re seeing big crowds on site, which means more cars and heavier traffic. Help keep things moving by catching the free buses from Hamilton, Cambridge, and Te Awamutu.

Plan ahead, jump on board, and we’ll see you at Fieldays.

👋 Meet Sandy Wesford

Sandy has been part of the Cambridge Lifeskills whānau for nearly 30 years, dedicating her career to supporting tamariki, rangatahi and whānau in our community.

A Qualified Registered Counsellor and Professional Supervisor (NNZAC), Sandy joined Cambridge Lifeskills in 1997 as a Counsellor. For the past 15 years, she has also served as Manager, Clinical Leader and Board Member, helping guide the organisation while continuing to support the young people and families who access our services.

Alongside her work with Cambridge Lifeskills, Sandy runs her own private practice, Cambridge Family Therapy, which complements her passion for helping people navigate life's challenges and build resilience 💜

Outside of work, Sandy enjoys travelling, spending time at the beach, fishing and hiking. Family is incredibly important to her, with her parents living in Cambridge and her adult sons nearby.

We’re incredibly grateful for the knowledge, leadership and care Sandy continues to bring to Cambridge Lifeskills 💙
