JONES, Kelly Hinewai. Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Friday 22 May 2026, aged 53 years.

Loved wife and best friend of Scott for 35 years. Adored mum and mum-in-law of Wiremu & Kimberley, Shelley, Aleena and Comrie. Cherished karani of Hinewai and Mereana. Devoted friend to many.

She was a hard worker with a magnetic personality that drew people to her wherever she went. Intelligent, funny, resilient, and strong-willed, Kelly faced life with determination and courage.

Above all else, Kelly wanted her children to succeed and thrive in life, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and future. Her strength, laughter, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

A Service to celebrate Kelly’s life will be held at the Chapel of Memories, 32 William Street, Huntly on Tuesday, 26 May at 11.00am, followed by the burial at the Taupiri Cemetery, Taupiri.

"Kua katohia te ringa o aitua e te whāea, haere, haere, haere atu rā ki te pō."

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Erena Yvonne Watkins, who passed away peacefully on 26 April, surrounded by her whānau.

Erena fought a long and tough battle with so much strength, and we are so proud of her. She can now finally rest.
We will miss her deeply — her love, her strength, her laughter, and the way she always held us together. She will forever be in our hearts ❤️❤️

She will lay at our homestead on Bone Road, Sunday and Monday nights, before making her journey to Te Ohaaki Marae on Tuesday, 28 April. Times are as followed:

7pm Service

Wednesday 29 April
10am Ope

All are welcome.
If there are groups that need to come at other times please message and we can arrange a time.

On Thursday morning at 11am we will have a service at the Huntly Fire Station, where we farewell mum for her final journey.
Kaihakiri/ food and drink will all be at the fire station after.

All are welcome to come and pay their respects at Bone Road and at Te Ohaaki Marae.
