Are you a Cupcake or Peach Muffin? Sushi Roll or Tater Tot? That’s something only Connie can tell you. We’re celebrating ten years of our wonderful Conz - and will&able wouldn't be the same without her.
Connie started on the production floor, changing out packaging for 29 pallets of pantyhose, and moved to the Production office two months later asking all the right questions about systems and paperwork.
Today she's our Production Manager, keeping customer relationships with Air New Zealand, L'Oréal, Marley, and Red Bull running like clockwork.
Ask anyone at will&able what makes Connie special, and you won’t hear mention of invoices or schedules. Instead they'll tell you about someone who bombards the team with love and cheer, who takes everyone under her wing, and who has coaxed even the quietest voices on the floor into conversation.
Someone who has a nickname - Cupcake, Peach Muffin, Sushi Roll, Rosebud, Tater Tot - for just about everyone she meets, and will never say no to a hug!
One of Connie’s favourite memories in the last ten years is when Air New Zealand threw the team Christmas party. They transformed the will&able lunchroom into a first-class cabin, set up a photo booth with pilot hats and airline props, and served the team food and drinks airline-style. "The delight on the team's faces – the dancing and singing. It was joyous and wonderful."
