🌼 A sea of yellow, incredible community spirit and plenty of sweet treats helped Summerset at the Course raise more than $2,000 for the Cancer Society through a bake sale, silent auction, Yellow Walk, and lolly sales. 🫶

The highlight was the Yellow Walk on 28 August, when residents, staff, family members, and the wider community stepped out in yellow for a brilliant cause. The energy on the walk was fantastic and both the Yellow Walk and bake sale raised more than $500 each!

The village was also thrilled to welcome two local celebrities and Upper Hutt councillors, whose support added even more excitement to the day.

Together, the Summerset at the Course community has made a truly meaningful difference. 🌼👏

🌼 It was a sea of yellow at Summerset in the Bay for Daffodil Day! 🌼

Residents dressed to match the theme of their yellow afternoon tea, surrounded by daffodils and yellow balloons. Guests sipped on Fluffy Duck cocktails, complete with adorable yellow ducklings, while enjoying an afternoon of fun and fundraising.

👏 Congratulations to Napier resident Dot Bower, who won the raffle, and to Jeanette Barker, who stole the show with her fabulous shoes and wooden duckling companion! 🐥

Together, residents raised more than $800 for the Cancer Society. What a quacking result! 🐥🌼

Summerset Boulcott residents enjoyed a fantastic day exploring Foxton. Their adventure began at the iconic De Molen Windmill, where residents explored the fascinating inner workings of this impressive Dutch landmark.

From there, they enjoyed some free time in the sunshine, with some stopping for coffee while others discovered the magic of Mewington's Book Shoppe. Complete with themed rooms, shelves packed with literary treasures and a few friendly feline greeters, the bookshop was a real highlight. 🐱✨

After a day filled with fun and exploration, residents returned home with bags of books, delicious Dutch treats and happy memories to treasure. ❤️

🌼 Community spirit was in full bloom at Summerset Mountain View this week. 🌼

The village team hosted a special High Tea for 40 residents in support of Daffodil Day, with residents generously donating almost $500 to the Cancer Society. 💛

Guests enjoyed a delicious selection of treats prepared by the Divine Café team and heard from a representative of the local Cancer Society, who shared insights into the important work they do in the community and how donations help support those affected by cancer.

A wonderful afternoon for a worthy cause, made possible by the kindness of residents and team members alike. 💛

🌼 Yellow never looked so good! 🌼

Summerset at Pohutukawa Place residents came out in full force for Daffodil Day, raising more than $4,000 for the Cancer Society. 🤩

Funds were raised through a range of fun activities, including a champagne breakfast, a mystery box live auction, the ever popular "balance a coin on a lemon" challenge, raffle sales, and a generous donation from the residents' committee.

The morning was filled with laughter and community spirit, with best-dressed awards and spot prizes adding to the excitement. 💛

🌼 What a morning at Summerset Boulcott for Daffodil Day! 🌼

Residents and guests enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast, cheerful daffodil displays, live blues and jazz from Daniel & Dwayne, raffles, prizes, and plenty of community spirit.

The dining room was looking bright and beautiful with yellow blooms everywhere, and the fresh daffodils in keepsake vases were a lovely way to support a great cause. The Best Dressed resident was hard to miss too, stealing the show with an amazing yellow wig! 💛

Thanks to the generosity of residents, families, supporters, and raffle sponsors Lighthouse Cinema Petone, Janus Bakery and Mangaroa Farms, the village proudly raised over $1,400 for the Cancer Society. 🎉🌼

💛 Waikato villages have been buzzing with Daffodil Day fundraising fun! 💛

At Summerset Cambridge, residents enjoyed sweet treats, a yellow-themed raffle, and created a special remembrance wall to honour loved ones, raising an impressive $700 so far for the Cancer Society.

Meanwhile, Summerset down the Lane raised more than $1,200 through knitted brooches, Divine Café cookies, a fundraising event featuring sweet treat boxes and live entertainment, plus a generous donation from the village team.
A fantastic effort from both villages, showing that every daffodil, raffle ticket, cookie, and act of kindness helps make a difference. 🌼
