Ang newborn screening ay isang simpleng blood test upang malaman kung may ilang congenital disorders o kondisyon si baby.

🔹 KAILAN?
Isinasagawa ito pagkalipas ng 24 oras mula sa kapanganakan.

🔹 BAKIT?
Nakakatulong ito upang maagang matukoy ang 29+ na sakit at mabigyan agad ng angkop na follow-up at paggamot upang makatulong na maiwasan ang malubhang komplikasyon, kapansanan, at maagang pagkamatay.

Maaaring gawin ang newborn screening sa:

Kukuha lamang ng ilang patak ng dugo sa sakong ni baby at ilalagay ito sa espesyal na filter paper para masuri.

A SUCCESSFUL MOBILE BLOOD DONATION AT IPH!

A successful Mobile Blood Donation Drive was held yesterday, September 27, 2026, at Iranon Provincial Hospital (IPH), bringing together generous individuals and dedicated hospital staff in support of a noble cause—saving lives through the gift of blood.

A big round of applause to our Laboratory Department, under the leadership of Bai Nadzma B. Aliuden, RMT – Laboratory Head Designate, for spearheading and successfully facilitating this meaningful activity. Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to the Utility Staff for preparing the venue very well and providing their valuable support throughout the event.

To all our generous blood donors, a VERY BIG THANK YOU! Your selfless act of donating blood can make a life-saving difference to patients in need. Your generosity truly embodies the spirit of compassion and service.

Successful New Citizens Charter Presentation in Preparation for Level II Hospital

A successful New Citizens Charter Presentation was conducted as part of the hospital’s preparations for achieving Level II Hospital status. All Department Heads actively participated, listened attentively, and comprehensively presented their respective services, processes, and requirements.

The activity was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Harris D. Macapeges, Medical Center Chief I, and was presided over by Catalino O. Molina Jr., RN, MAN, MPA, Administrative Officer V. Also present was Reham O. Dimaren, RN, MAN, Chief Nurse, together with the Department Heads and representatives who contributed to the successful conduct of the presentation.

This activity reflects the hospital’s continued commitment to strengthening its systems, improving service delivery, and ensuring quality and accessible healthcare for the community.

MENRE CONDUCTS MONITORING AT OUR NEW HOSPITAL BUILDING

The Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Energy (MENRE) conducted a monitoring activity at our New Hospital Building to assess and ensure compliance with relevant environmental standards and requirements.

The activity was carried out under the leadership of Dr. Harris D. Macapeges, Medical Center Chief I, together with Chief Nurse Reham Dimaren, RN, MAN; Administrative Officer V, Catalino O. Molina Jr., RN, MAN, MPA; and Pollution Control Officer/Housekeeping Unit Head, Jehan O. Abdulazis.

This monitoring activity reflects the hospital’s continued commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and environmentally compliant healthcare facility for our patients, staff, and the community.
