Sharing the newly released Philippine Pediatric Society Position Statement on Social Media Use in Children and Adolescents.

The PPS does not recommend independent social media use for children aged 16 years and below and calls for stronger child protections through safer platform design and shared responsibility among families, schools, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and technology companies.

Because keeping children safe online is everyone’s responsibility. 💻🎮📱
