You’ve probably heard that taking a walk after a meal can help regulate your blood sugar.
But what if you don’t have time or you are somewhere where you can’t get up?
Try calf raises!
Your calf has a muscle called the soleus, which is especially good at using glucose from your bloodstream for energy.
In one study, researchers found that repeatedly activating this muscle with a “soleus push up” reduced postmeal blood sugar response by up to 52%!
And the best part, noooo one’s gonna know. You can do it under the table. 😏
Save this for the next time you’re stuck sitting after a meal!
