How can I tell if I’m ovulating?
While the only way to know more accurately involves tracking or testing, your body can give you some useful clues around your fertile window.
1. Your discharge changes
You may notice more cervical mucus than usual. Around ovulation, it often becomes clear, slippery and stretchy — a bit like raw egg white. This type of mucus helps s***m travel more easily.
2. A little cramping/ pain on one side
Some women feel a mild ache or twinge in the lower abdomen around the time of ovulation. It can last for a few minutes or several hours, and not everyone experiences it.
3. Light spotting
A small amount of pink or brown spotting can sometimes happen mid-cycle due to the hormonal changes around ovulation.
4.Increased libido
An increase in s*x drive around your fertile days is completely normal. It’s one of those subtle ways your body may be telling you that you’re in your fertile window.
5. Breast tenderness
Breast or ni**le tenderness can also happen around this time as your hormones change.
Remember, you don’t need to experience all of these signs to be ovulating. Some women notice several changes every month, while others hardly notice anything at all.
The more you get to know your own cycle, the easier it can become to recognise what’s normal for your body — especially when you’re trying to conceive❤️
