Meet & Be Well Pottery Workshop. 🏺

A pottery workshop was held on 30 July 2026 for about 8 migrant workers on Special Passes. These sessions offer more than just the opportunity to get creative. They provide a welcome pause from uncertainty, a space to connect with friends, share conversations, and simply enjoy being present together.

Through every piece of clay shaped and every story shared, we're reminded that healing and well-being often begin with community. 💛

A healthy community starts with small preventive steps.

Our Preventive Health Roadshow at Penjuru Recreation Centre brought together more than 430 migrant workers for an evening focused on health, wellness and community.

Participants received free health checks, dental and nutrition education, mental health resources, and practical tips to support their well-being. We were also delighted to distribute packs of brown rice to our brothers, encouraging healthier eating habits.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff, volunteers and partners whose passion and teamwork made the event a success.

Together, we're empowering migrant workers to take small steps today for a healthier tomorrow.

We have successfully completed yet another Migrant Domestic Worker (MDW) Health Screening, where 101 migrant domestic workers took a meaningful step towards better health.

The workers came from diverse backgrounds, with many from the Philippines, Myanmar, and Indonesia, alongside smaller numbers from India and Sri Lanka.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers for their time, dedication, and compassion. Together, we're building a healthier and more caring community. 💙

We're proud to share that Durga Arivan, Head of Counselling and Social Services at HealthServe, presented at ICPR7 – International Conference on Practice Research at .sg

Her presentation, "Counselling, Context, and Systems: Practice Research from Migrant Worker Services," explored how our everyday counselling practice with migrant workers can contribute to new knowledge and deepen our understanding of the complex challenges they face.

By bringing practice and research together, we can continue to strengthen the care and support we provide to the communities we serve.

A big thank you to everyone who made our very first Tea, Talk & Table possible! ☕💬

Held last Sunday at Sian Chay Medical Institution, this pilot session was created to bring migrant workers and local residents together—to meet, chat, and get to know one another over a cup of tea.

It was heartening to see genuine conversations, laughter, and new friendships forming among the migrant workers.

We hope to welcome even more Singaporeans at our next session as we continue building bridges and fostering friendships across our community.

Our Mental Health team welcomed 11 of our Peer Support Leader (PSL) brothers back to our Geylang office for a follow-up session.

Over a shared meal and interactive games, the brothers revisited key concepts from their PSL training and reflected on their experiences supporting their fellow brothers. The session, held two weekends ago, also gave them the opportunity to reconnect, learn from one another, and strengthen the bonds they've built as peer supporters.

We're grateful for their kindness, commitment, and the care they show those around them. Together, we're building a stronger and more supportive community—one conversation at a time. 🤝💛

There is something special about coming together as a team.

At our recent HealthServe staff retreat, we took time to reconnect, reflect on our shared purpose, and have meaningful conversations about the future. Beyond catching up with colleagues, we explored new ideas and opportunities to expand our initiatives so that we can reach and support more migrant workers in Singapore.

As HealthServe marks 20 years of service, we're reminded that our impact is made possible by the passion and dedication of every member of our team. We're excited for what lies ahead as we continue growing stronger together.
