We are once again deeply grateful to Pei Hwa Foundation for their generous and continued blessing to All Saints Home! Celebrating its 36th Anniversary Charity Day, Pei Hwa Foundation continues to uplift vulnerable members of the community through its support for education, social welfare, and community care initiatives.

Our CEO, Mr Samuel Tan, had the privilege of representing All Saints Home at the Charity Day and receiving the donation cheque.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Pei Hwa Foundation for their generosity, compassion, and continued confidence in our work. Thank you for partnering with us to bring comfort, dignity, and care to the seniors we serve. ❀️

Our residents from All Saints Home (Jurong East) enjoyed a joyful afternoon with students from Crest Secondary School as part of the school's Values in Action programme.

From arcade-style basketball shooting and air hockey to billiards, darts, table soccer and table tennis, both our residents and the students turned the atmosphere into a lively playground of laughter, cheers and friendly rivalry.

A special shoutout to the thoughtful students who personally wheeled our residents to and from the school, making the experience all the more meaningful. Moments like these remind us that connections across generations can be formed in the simplest β€” and most entertaining β€” ways. πŸ’›

Retail therapy for nursing home residents? Why not! πŸ›’πŸ˜‹

Our residents from All Saints Home (Hougang) recently headed out for a delightful day of good food, good company, and a little grocery aisle adventure. From enjoying local hawker favourites to browsing supermarket shelves for their favourite snacks and necessities, the outing was filled with smiles, laughter, and happy tummies all around.

Shopping therapy outings like these are regularly organised across our four nursing homes as part of our person-centred care approach. Beyond recreation, these outings empower residents with the autonomy to make choices, stay connected with the community, and continue enjoying familiar everyday experiences that bring comfort and meaning.

Sometimes, the simplest joys make for the best days out β€” sharing a hearty meal, picking out favourite snacks, and soaking in the bustle of everyday life together.

⚽ Goal-scoring moments, laughter-filled passes, and a little bit of β€œfootball fever"!

Our residents from All Saints Home (Tampines) recently welcomed the footballers from Temasek Junior College for an energetic and heartwarming VIA session that proved football truly is a game for all ages.

The students kicked things off with a modified interactive football game alongside our residents β€” complete with cheerful teamwork, playful banter, and some surprisingly impressive footwork from our residents! πŸ‘€βš½οΈ

And just when the excitement could not get any higher, the students treated everyone to a friendly match among themselves. Safe to say, the competitive spirit was alive and well… especially with World Cup fever in the air this year! πŸŒπŸ†

Beyond the goals and games, what truly stood out were the meaningful conversations, shared laughter, and genuine connections formed across generations. Moments like these remind us that intergenerational activities do more than bring people together β€” they bridge ages, foster understanding, and create memories that warm the heart long after the final whistle. ❀️

Last Monday, our CEO, Mr Samuel Tan, was honoured to be the Guest-of-Honour at Republic Polytechnic’s Graduation Ceremony for the Schools of Sports & Health and Technology for the Arts, Media & Design, where he also presented the Academic Awards.

At the ceremony, he shared an important reminder with the graduands: β€œTrue success is not about being the best - it’s about becoming your best and using that to lift others.”

This spirit is reflected in the disciplines across both schools, where people are at the heart of their work - addressing real-world challenges and creating meaningful impact, whether through advancing well-being or shaping experiences in arts, media and design. It is a value we deeply share at All Saints Home, where care and compassion remain at the core of all that we do.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 🌟 We wish you every success as you step into this next chapter!

Last Thursday, we joined an appreciation lunch held for the All Saints Bethel Befrienders (ABBS) β€” a dedicated group that has journeyed with us since 2008, faithfully serving our residents and clients through music, quizzes, befriending sessions, and even chapel services. Through their unwavering commitment, ABBS has been ministering not just to physical needs, but also nurturing the social and spiritual well-being of those in our care.

It was also especially meaningful to hold this gathering at Yoon's Social Kitchen, a social enterprise with a deeply meaningful mission β€” supporting mature-aged female ex-drug offenders through meaningful employment.

The afternoon was one of gratitude, reflection, and shared purpose β€” bringing together a community of people committed to uplifting others in their own unique ways.

To our ABBS volunteers: thank you for your years of compassion, dedication, and faithful service. You continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of many. πŸ’›

πŸš΄β€β™‚οΈ 100KM. One Cause. πŸ’›

On 1 May, our incredible volunteer cyclists crossed the finish line of our 100KM Cyclethon β€” a remarkable achievement made even more meaningful by the diversity of those who took part.

From seasoned riders to first-time long-distance cyclists, each individual pushed beyond their limits with determination and heart. What made this journey even more special was the coming together of different generations β€” young and old riding side by side, united by a shared purpose.

It was more than just a physical feat. It was a powerful display of resilience, community, and compassion in action. ❀️

To every cyclist who showed up, persevered, and rode for our residents and clients β€” thank you for your labour of love for All Saints Home on Labour Day! Your effort has brought encouragement, joy, and hope to the lives we care for.

πŸ’› The journey doesn’t end here. You can still support our Cyclethon campaign and make a difference in the lives of our residents and clients πŸ‘‰ https://donate.allsaintshome.org.sg/campaign?index=142
