Community Partner Spotlight ❤️🖤
This week, we are honored to recognize one of our valued community partners, Quinault Wellness Center in Aberdeen.
When Quinault Wellness Center opened its doors in 2022, they immediately welcomed Destination Hope & Recovery in to learn about our services and to share theirs. That introduction quickly grew into a partnership that has become incredibly meaningful to both of our organizations.
Built by the Quinault Indian Nation, Quinault Wellness Center provides comprehensive healthcare, mental health services, and whole-person substance use disorder treatment to residents throughout Grays Harbor County. Their mission to care for the whole person aligns so closely with our own, making this partnership a natural fit.
Today, our case managers work from QWC twice each week, providing the wraparound support our programs specialize in. They don't just work there; they feel like part of the QWC family. That welcoming environment says everything about the culture their team has created.
Over the past few years, we've had the privilege of watching Quinault Wellness Center continue to grow, expanding services that our community has desperately needed for a long time. Their trauma-informed approach has truly helped change the way people experience care in Grays Harbor. They treat every person with dignity and compassion, whether they're living with mental health challenges, actively struggling with substance use, or carrying the weight of their past. Because of that, people feel safe asking for help instead of fearing judgment.
That kind of care changes lives.
From day one, QWC's leadership has been one of Destination Hope & Recovery's biggest champions. Their belief in our work, their willingness to collaborate, and their commitment to serving our community together have meant more than words can express. Through every challenge and every success, we've stood beside one another. They've always had our backs, and we'll always have theirs. That kind of partnership is invaluable, and it's something we never take for granted.
