🌟The Pelvic Shift is expanding to Anson🌟

Starting soon, I’ll be offering pelvic floor physical therapy in Anson two days each month to help make specialized care more accessible for our surrounding communities.

One of the barriers to getting pelvic floor therapy is simply getting there. Between busy schedules, work, kids, and long drives, making the trip to Abilene isn’t always realistic.

That’s why I’m bringing care closer to you.

Whether you’re dealing with:
- Urinary leakage
- Pelvic pain
- Pregnancy or postpartum concerns
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Pain with intimacy
- Constipation
- Or other pelvic floor symptoms...

You deserve access to high-quality care.

My hope is that by offering appointments in Anson twice each month, more people will be able to get the care they’ve been putting off because of distance.

If you live in Anson or one of the surrounding communities and have been waiting for pelvic floor therapy to be closer to home, I’d love to help.

📍 Upcoming availability: August 17th and 27th

Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is common — but that doesn’t mean you have to live with symptoms.

Many things can contribute to prolapse related symptoms:
- Pelvic floor muscle dysfunction
- Nervous system sensitivity
- Poor pressure management strategies
- Core, rib cage, and hip strength/mobility
- Constipation

Every prolapse story is different. Treatment should be individualized to your symptoms, goals, & lifestyle. If you’ve been told that surgery is your only option or that symptoms are just part of aging or having kids, know that pelvic floor therapy can provide you support & help you navigate your prolapse journey!

While many of these symptoms are common postpartum, that doesn’t mean you should have to navigate them without support or just “wait and see” if they improve on their own.

Postpartum recovery deserves rehab to. We would never expect someone to recovery from another major physical event without support or rehab guidance. Birth should not be different. Whether you’re 2 weeks or 20 years postpartum—pelvic floor therapy can support you.

Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized form of physical (or occupational) therapy focused on bladder, bowel, and sexual health. Pelvic floor therapists complete advanced training to assess and treat these intimate areas.

The pelvic floor doesn’t work in isolation. It’s influenced by your core, hips, rib cage, low back—even your feet. That’s why my approach goes beyond the pelvic floor itself, looking at how your whole body moves and functions together.

Because pelvic floor therapy isn’t just about managing symptoms.
It’s about resolving the things that have been quietly limiting you.
The hip pain that won’t go away.
Returning to exercise postpartum with confidence.
Feeling comfortable and pain-free during intimacy.
Sitting without tailbone pain.

When we treat the body as an integrated system—not just isolated parts—we create meaningful, lasting change.
