If you're considering treatment for substance use, one of the first questions you may have is what treatment will look like.

Will you need the structure and support of a residential setting? Can you receive treatment while continuing to live at home? Can treatment work around responsibilities such as your job or family?

There isn't one answer that's right for everyone.

IBH Addiction Recovery offers Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, and Outpatient Programs, so we can tailor care to each person's needs, circumstances, and recovery goals.

Sometimes the most important question isn't whether you need support. It's understanding what kind of support will work for you.

Through a unique partnership with Hope Meadows, IBH Addiction Recovery clients are experiencing the benefits of equine-assisted therapy, building confidence, strengthening connections, and developing skills that support lasting recovery.

In the latest episode of Stories of Substance, IBH Addiction Recovery CEO Jess Rist talks with Michelle Togliatti, co-founder of Hope Meadows Foundation, about the healing power of horses, the impact of their organizations' collaboration, and how this approach complements traditional addiction treatment.

Together, they're creating meaningful healing opportunities that extend beyond the traditional treatment setting.

It isn't always easy to recognize when substance use has reached the point where professional help may be needed.

Sometimes the signs are obvious. Other times, they're small changes that begin adding up: problems at work, withdrawing from people you care about, financial difficulties, changes in physical or emotional health, or repeatedly trying to cut back without success.

You don't have to know exactly what kind of treatment you need before reaching out.

An assessment can help you better understand what's happening and explore the options that may be appropriate for you.

IBH Addiction Recovery offers multiple levels of treatment and support based on individual needs, including Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, and Outpatient Programs.

Sometimes substance use isn't the only challenge someone is facing.

Depression can affect motivation, relationships, sleep, work, physical health, and the ability to manage everyday life. When depression and substance use occur together, addressing only one part of the problem may leave important needs unmet.

Depression Awareness Month reminds us to look at the whole person.

If you notice significant changes in yourself or someone you care about, don't assume you have to determine what's wrong before asking for help. Starting the conversation can be enough to begin exploring what support may be needed.
