A recent Nurse Leader article examined the often unseen influence nurses have within regulatory agencies and emphasized the importance of nurses serving in leadership and advisory roles. The conversation aligns closely with ANA-NY’s ongoing advocacy for nurses to have a seat at the table, including support for legislation requiring a registered nurse to serve as a voting member on hospital governing boards.
