July 1 marks five years in private practice, and I am filled with gratitude as I reflect on this journey. As I approach 16 years in this field, I am humbled by the path God has allowed me to walk and the lives I have been entrusted to serve.

It has been an incredible honor to care for this community and to be trusted with the mental health of your children, your families, and each of you as individuals. That trust is a privilege I never take lightly, and I remain committed to providing compassionate, ethical, and quality care every day.

To every client, family, colleague, referral partner, and supporter who has been a part of this journey, thank you. Your encouragement and confidence in Bloom in Session Psychotherapy and Consulting have made these five years in private practice possible.

My prayer is that Bloom in Session Psychotherapy and Consulting will continue to grow, serve with excellence, and remain a place where healing, hope, and restoration take root in our community. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your stories. Here’s to many more years of serving with purpose and compassion.

Welcome to the official page of the CENLA Chapter of the National Black Nurses Association! ✨

We are proud to be the first NBNA chapter serving Central Louisiana, and we are excited to begin this journey of promoting health, education, mentorship, and advocacy within our community.

Our mission is to support nurses and nursing students while working to improve health outcomes and address health disparities throughout the CENLA region.

Over the next several days, we will be introducing you to the charter members who helped establish this chapter, beginning with our Executive Leadership Team and followed by the amazing nurses who helped bring this vision to life.
