Robert L. Brensinger, 94, of Allentown, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the Atrium of Allentown. He has now joined his dear wife, Carol A. (Levy) Brensinger, who passed away just six months ago.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Walter and Thelma (Moulthrop) Brensinger. Bob served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked briefly at the Bethlehem Steel before serving the City of Allentown as the Superintendent of the Bureau of Water Filtration for over 32 years until retiring in 1987. Bob and Carol were avid bowlers, playing in various leagues throughout the years. They enjoyed fishing and boating trips to Canada with friends for more than 30 years. Bob also enjoyed playing cards at the Fearless Fire Company, gardening and yard work, caring for both indoor and outdoor plants, and going to the Mercantile Club in Emmaus.
Survivors: 3 nieces and 1 nephew; 3 great-nieces and 4 great-nephews; 1 great-great-niece.
Services: Bob and Carol will be laid to rest together privately at St. Mark’s Cemetery in Allentown. Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
