Bingo, laughter and a little friendly competition! 🎉💛

Our residents enjoyed an afternoon of bingo, sharing plenty of smiles, conversation and those all-important “Bingo!” moments. It’s wonderful to see how simple activities can bring everyone together and create opportunities for friendship and fun. 🥰

A little paint, a few colourful crafts, and suddenly the years between generations seem to disappear. Our residents and these young artists share laughter, stories, creativity—and the simple joy of making something side by side.

A cuddle, a smile, and a beautiful moment of connection. 💕
Our residents loved spending time with these incredibly lifelike reborn dolls donated by a family member of a resident—bringing back tender memories and plenty of joy. 👶🥰

Dear Bonnie. 🥰 Bonnie had a wonderful sense of humour and a spirited personality that could brighten any room. Her cheeky expressions and infectious smile brought joy to so many, and she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

How hard can it be to balance a full-time job, a household and looking after an elderly parent? You keep telling yourself you can handle it. You want to do the right thing because you love them. But as you keep doing this for a while, you notice how emotionally and physically sapped you feel. Does this sound familiar? If it does, you’re not alone.

As caregivers, we at Legacy Place completely empathize with the emotional, physical and mental reserves that are spent in care. We don’t want our caregivers to experience caregiver burnout, and so we are aware of what can help prevent this burnout. We thought we would share these insights with you too, so it can help if you are caring for an older one. (Link in bio and story)
