You may be able to start physical therapy without a physician’s referral!

Thanks to Georgia’s Direct Access laws, many patients with commercial (non-Medicare) insurance can begin treatment right away—no referral needed. At Accelerated Physical Therapy, we can often see you for up to 8 visits within 21 days, giving you the chance to reduce pain, improve mobility, and start feeling better sooner.

For many people, that’s enough to get back to doing what they love—or it gives you the opportunity to experience the benefits of physical therapy while you take the time to decide if you’d like to obtain a physician referral for continued care.
