Senior Picture Day was last week in the Health Center, and Jennie L. West , our QA Nurse, absolutely knocked it out of the park once again! ❤️

It is truly an honor to serve and care for the incredible people who call Northridge Village home. And honestly, they make our jobs pretty easy. They are some of the sweetest, kindest, and most gracious people you could ever meet.

We’re so grateful for every one of these amazing individuals and the privilege of being part of their lives. ❤️

Last week, our NRV mentors brought the fun to the **NRV State Fair!** 🎟️🍿

Our NRV mentors went ALL IN for State Fair week! From creating a fun photo booth backdrop, to putting together games, prizes, and plenty of opportunities for laughs, they helped make the week extra special for our residents. ❤️

It’s more than an event—it’s the connections, relationships, and moments that make a difference. We’re so grateful for the incredible people who show up every day with purpose, passion, and joy to make life at NRV a little brighter. 🫶

Friday was the last day of State Fair Week for Northridge Village and we finished up with a lemonade stand, amazing State Fair food from Jays Mobile Kitchen and Catering, and music with Lott Music Studio.

🎡 State Fair Week Carnival was one heck of a day! 🎡

We packed a LOT of fun into one afternoon at Northridge Village! From Tropical Sno Of Iowa snow-cones that left us with some very colorful tongues 😜 to cotton candy spun fresh by Sugar Me Sweet, there was plenty of sugar-fueled fun.

We had classic cars, classic tractors, a Model T ride, and even an old steam engine that once worked in a Colorado gold mine! The Northridge Village employee mentors even ran 2 booths. We are proud of our staff for volunteering time to bring joy to our residents, even in their off time. 🚂

And then there was Whack-a-Staff. It was a hit—especially when the therapy team stepped up to the plate! 👊😂 Stay tuned for video evidence. 🎥

Big thanks to everyone who came out, brought the fun, showed off their wheels, spun some sugar, served up snow cones and helped make our State Fair Week Carnival one to remember!

Aging doesn’t require growing up. ❤️🎡
