The New Hampshire moms’ pages are full of posts asking the wrong questions about local aesthetic injectors.

“Where do you guys get the best price on Botox?”
“Anyone offering specials or model pricing for lip filler?”
“Where do you go for Botox where they don’t water it down?”

They’re asked constantly in New Hampshire mom groups, and it shows how hard it can be to evaluate aesthetic providers before deciding to let them near our faces. Of course, the cost matters and I don’t encourage anyone to have a treatment they can’t comfortably afford, but cheap Botox can carry more risk than its worth.

This is my CO2 laser CoolPeel journey.

CoolPeel is a light laser resurfacing treatment, same laser but much less down time than a deep treatment (which you can read about on my latest blog!).

Before, I used topical numbing which is why I’m a bit shiny in the photo.

Right after, it felt hot like a sunburn, but I went on with my day and was able to function fine.

The next day I was completely comfortable. A bit puffy around the eyes and my skin was a bit red in a grid pattern as you can see in the photo.

On day 2 I went to see Hamilton in Boston and didn’t think twice about it!

The following days my skin looked normal but was rough to the touch.

By day 7 it was smooth as a baby’s bottom!

This treatment is best for routine skin maintenance, lifting brown spots, and improving skin texture.
