One of the most powerful shifts I see in therapy is when someone stops asking “what’s wrong with me?” and starts asking “what happened to me?”

Those are very different questions.

The first one turns you into the problem. The second one opens the door to understanding.

So much of what we carry in adulthood has roots we haven’t fully looked at yet. And that’s not a flaw. That’s just being human in a world that doesn’t always give us the space to process as we go.

You are not broken, you are someone who has lived through things.

This month at Summit, we’re holding space for your story, wherever you are in it. Check out upcoming events and book online my LinkTree:

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, nurturers and caretakers, 🌿
Today can hold so many different emotions. For those celebrating with their mothers, missing mothers who have passed, longing for a child that never came, navigating complicated relationships, grieving, healing, or quietly carrying invisible stories you are not alone And for those who show up as mother figures in the lives of others through love, guidance, compassion, teaching, friendship, community, and presence… thank you. The world needs that kind of care deeply. Today I’m personally honoring the gift of motherhood while also slowing down to appreciate time in nature, the grounding support of Mother Earth, and the women who came before me. May today offer gentleness, space to breathe, and moments of connection in whatever form your heart needs most

May always feels like a turning point to me. There’s more light, more movement in the air, and for me personally, a lot of reflection.

This year my son is turning 18, and as I watch him step into adulthood, I keep finding myself drifting back to who I was at that age. What I was carrying and things I didn’t yet have words for.

I didn’t have spaces back then to just slow down, come back to the body, and just… be.

That’s part of why I do this work and part of why these moments in silence and reflection matter so much to me.

This month at Summit, we’re holding space for your story, wherever you are in it. There’s only a couple more spots for my team’s women’s wellness reset day on May 16!! Join us for a day of rest, relaxation and coming back to yourself. You can book online through my linktree here:

Something I’ve come to understand in my work, and in my own life, is that healing rarely happens in just one place.

We tend to think of mental health as something that lives in our thoughts. But the body keeps score too. In the tension you carry in your shoulders, the way your stomach tightens under stress, the fatigue that sleep doesn’t seem to fix.

This is why an integrative approach matters. When we look at the whole picture: sleep, nourishment, nervous system patterns, and what your body is communicating, we can support healing in a way that goes deeper than talk alone.

Your mind and body are not separate. And this month, I want to honor both.

This month at Summit, we’re holding space for your story, wherever you are in it.

There’s a few more spots for my sound bath session tonight at 6:30 p.m., and also for my team’s women’s wellness reset day on May 16. You can book online through my linktree here:

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. And every year when it comes around, I find myself thinking less about statistics and more about people.

The ones who struggled quietly, who asked for help and were told they were fine. The ones who didn’t have the words yet.

Mental health isn’t something that only shows up in crisis. It lives in the everyday. In how you sleep, how you move through stress, how you feel in your own body.

This month is a reminder that you don’t have to be falling apart to deserve support. You just have to be human.

This month at Summit, we’re holding space for your story, wherever you are in it. Check out upcoming events and book online through my LinkTree:

Hi friends! What do you know about cortisol? All too familiar? Same here.

When we’re under stress, the body releases cortisol to help us stay alert and keep going. That’s helpful in the short term, but when cortisol stays elevated for too long, it can start to feel like constant fatigue, difficulty slowing down, feeling a little on edge even when nothing’s “wrong.”

Time outside, especially in natural light and quieter environments, can help bring those levels back down. Not instantly, and not as a cure-all, but as a signal to the body that it’s safe to come out of that constant state of activation.

This is part of what I mean when I talk about taking an integrative approach… because sometimes the shift isn’t something you can think your way through! It’s something that your body experiences.

My team and I have some great opportunities this month and next to slow down and come back to yourself.

A lot of the things that help you feel better seem almost… too simple, but they’re not random.

Your body is constantly scanning for cues that tell it whether it’s safe or stressed.

Light, breath, movement, temperature, environment.

These are all inputs your system responds to, so when you step outside, slow your breathing, or take a quiet moment, you’re giving your body a signal to regulate.

My team and I have some great opportunities this month and next to slow down and come back to yourself.
