Designed for the fluid movers, the naturally bendy, and anyone looking to bring balance to their range of motion. Zone in on fundamental, building-block poses, transitions, and stability-focused exercises that help reveal a more in-tune body awareness as well as a deeply rooted core strength that permeates throughout the body.

This 90-minute workshop prioritizes engaged, active strength over passive stretching to support the areas of the body that often take on the stress of overstretching. Move through a heat-building, slow-burn flow that challenges you to rein in your flexibility, and then reward yourself with an extended, deeply grounding savasana that carries your practice off the mat.

We got down and dirty in Utah.

Playing outside in nature’s playground all week let us be fully present and in the moment, letting go of all the other stuff. From Bryce Canyon to Snow Canyon and the many trails within Zion — plus a day at Zion Hot Springs — we love you Southern Utah.

Today we celebrated Madeline’s 100th yoga class 🧘‍♀️✨

At just seven years old, she’s already building a beautiful foundation of mindfulness, movement, and self-awareness.

We asked her a few questions, and her answers say it all:

🌸 Favorite yoga pose: Butterfly  
🎨 Favorite part of class: Making crafts  
💛 Something learned in class that you use outside of the studio: “I learned how to take deep breaths when I need them, and it’s ok.”

Madeline reminds us that yoga isn’t just what happens on the mat—it’s something we carry with us into everyday life.

Why bother with the block?

Yoga props bring us into alignment so we actually get to stretch the muscles that are tight, strengthen the ones that are weak and open the body.

Otherwise, we fall into the same old habits, letting the bigger stronger muscles, or the more mobile joints do the work. Then nothing changes in our bodies.

Using the block in parsvakonasana, side angle, creates more space so we can fully stack our shoulders and ribs while not allowing the butt stick out.

Today feels like a pretty good day to announce our next retreat to El Salvador, which many say is the Costa Rica from 20 years ago!

Enjoy a week of yoga, surfing, horseback riding, and, for those who want to give back, the opportunity to donate your time at the local dog sanctuary or the English Academy.

This retreat includes six nights lodging, daily yoga and mediation, a group trip to a waterfall, a sound healing experience, three gourmet meals a day, and access to all amenities including pools, sauna, cold plunge, and an adult jungle gym.
