Spring Arbor of Apex and Cary teamed up this weekend with local author K. Andranine Smith for a special event featuring the Virtual Dementia Tour. 🎉 It was a meaningful day supporting her book, Are We Going To Church Today?, and raising awareness about dementia and caregiving. We also heard inspiring insights from dementia care expert Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA, emphasizing the importance of empathy and person-centered care. Grateful for the impactful connections made with families and community partners!

A community offers so much more than daily meals, medication management, and onsite support—it offers connection.

A community is just that... a community. It's a place where residents can wake up each day and choose how they want to spend their time. It's having the opportunity to say, "Yes, I'll go to Cookout today," and enjoy a good milkshake, laughter, and time with friends and neighbors.

It's the friendships formed over milkshakes, the conversations shared around the table, and the sense of belonging that makes a place feel like home.

Friends, Family, and Senior Partners!

Please join us on June 19th from 2PM to 4PM as we gather for a special Life Skills Event and Gardening Activity in our Cottage!

Our residents enjoy staying active and keeping their hands busy, and gardening is a wonderful way to engage their senses, encourage meaningful participation, and spend time outdoors. With a little dirt, some flowers, and plenty of smiles, we'll work together to create beautiful planters that everyone can enjoy throughout the season.

We would love for you to be part of this special time with your loved one and our Cottage family. We look forward to gardening together! 🌼🌿

We want to take a moment to recognize and thank our wonderful Nurse Cynthia for everything she does for Spring Arbor Of Apex!

Cynthia is always available when she’s needed most—whether it’s completing resident assessments, answering questions from team members, or supporting families as they navigate care decisions. She also makes it a priority to regularly pop in and check on residents and staff, ensuring everything is running smoothly and everyone feels supported.

Her presence, compassion, and dedication truly make a difference every day. We are so grateful to have her as part of our team and for the care she provides to our residents and families.
