Another instructor update - Lauren is stepping away from teaching our live, group start courses. She will still be teaching the independent start course, though!

During the pandemic, when virtual classrooms opened up in new ways, I had the opportunity to return to the very school I graduated from in the early 2000s — but this time as faculty. What an unexpected full-circle moment that became.
For the last 6+ years:
✨ 3 terms a year
✨ 10 classes each term
✨ Hundreds of lectures given
✨ Significant number of students impacted
And while the content is important, the relationships are what I’ll carry with me most.
It has been such an honor to watch class after class step into this work with passion, curiosity, heart, and a deep desire to help others heal. I may have stopped practicing clinically in 2014, but teaching kept me deeply connected to the holistic health world that shaped so much of my journey. It’s been beyond rewarding and fulfilling.
I loved not only teaching the curriculum, but bringing real-life clinical stories, experiences, lessons, and humanity into the classroom. Those conversations aren’t often in the textbooks.
Tonight, as I closed out my final class, I found myself reflecting on how beautiful growth really is. The greatest reward is seeing others rise.
I’m especially proud to be passing the baton to two incredible women stepping into instructor roles — one who was once an intern of mine and another who came I also had the privilege to work with in my coaching program. Watching them soar feels like the ultimate reminder that what we pour into others continues far beyond us.
The circle of life continues. Seasons shift. And while this chapter closes, I’m stepping into a fuller alignment of where my attention, energy, and purpose are calling me next.
So much gratitude for every student, every conversation, every laugh, and every friendship created along the way.
Teaching at NTI will always hold a very special place in my heart. 🤍 Thank you for the opportunity.
