🌟 Employee Spotlight: Janice | Recruiting & Human Resources 🌟

We’re proud to shine a spotlight on Janice, a vital part of our team with nearly two decades of experience in the mental health field.

Janice began her career at Clarvida Mental Health Services, where she spent 19 years building a strong foundation in administrative and HR operations. She started as a scheduler supporting a team of eight psychiatrists, ensuring smooth coordination and quality patient care.

She later transitioned into a Medical Records Specialist role, managing over 1,500 client files with precision and confidentiality.

In 2022, Janice stepped into her role as a Human Resources Representative, supporting North Carolina and Georgia. She oversees 600+ employee files while handling employee relations, compliance, recruiting, and onboarding across multiple locations.

Janice’s attention to detail, professionalism, and people-first approach make her an invaluable asset to our organization.

We’re grateful to have her on our team! 💙

🚨 POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER (PTSD) 🚨

PTSD often develops after experiencing shocking, dangerous, or traumatic events — the kind that overwhelm an individual’s natural coping abilities. For first responders, these experiences can add up over a career, leading to what some experts now recognize as an actual physical injury to the brain.

Unfortunately, PTSD doesn’t just “go away” with time. It can show up in many ways — anxiety, depression, mood swings, irritability, sleep issues, and more — often affecting relationships, focus, and work performance.

💭 Did you know?
📊 The Journal of Psychiatric Research reports:
20% of Law Enforcement experience PTSD
Up to 35% of Firefighters
37% of EMTs

🔥 The good news — PTSD is treatable!

At Responder Support Services, we provide evidence-based treatments endorsed by the American Psychological Association, with proven results. Many clients see significant improvement in as few as 8–12 sessions.

💬 You don’t have to keep suffering in silence. Help is available — and recovery is possible.
