To notice what works. What drains you. What you've outgrown. What keeps asking for repair. And perhaps most importantly, what you already know but haven't yet built into the way you live.

Because eventually insight has to enter the body, the calendar, the boundary, the conversation, the work.

It has to become practice.

There are endings that slam doors. And there are endings that behave more like water.

The August 28 Pisces Full Moon + partial lunar eclipse feels like the second kind.

This eclipse belongs to a Virgo–Pisces story that has been unfolding since September 2024. It is not technically the final eclipse in the entire sequence ♍ Virgo returns once more in February 2027, ♓ but it is the final Pisces eclipse of this chapter.

What makes this eclipse especially interesting is the rest of the sky. The Pisces Moon opposes the Virgo Sun and Mercury, while Uranus in Gemini squares all three in an extraordinarily tight mutable T-square.

So this is not simply a “let go and surrender” Full Moon. Something may change the way we understand the story itself.

A new piece of information.
A conversation.
An admission.
A realization that makes an old belief impossible to continue carrying.
And still: revelation does not always require immediate reaction.

Sometimes the mind changes first.
A life has furniture.

There comes a point when knowing who you are is no longer enough. Your life begins asking for evidence.

That sentence has been following me through this Leo eclipse.

Because Leo isn't only about visibility. And this eclipse isn't simply asking us to be louder, bolder, more confident, or more "magnetic."
It's asking whether the person we've become privately has somewhere to live publicly.

In our work.
Our relationships.
Our boundaries.
Our calendars.
Our choices.

A few days before the eclipse, I found an empty bird's nest directly in my path after a day filled with nature, friendship, synchronicity, and conversations about exactly this kind of becoming.

Nothing was wrong with the nest.
Its season of being inhabited was simply over.
And I haven't stopped thinking about that.

Some identities are like that too.
They held us. They protected us. They gave us somewhere to become.
And then one day we realize:
I don't live there anymore.

Sometimes the most meaningful work doesn't happen behind a computer screen.

Today’s lunch time was spent harvesting a small batch of my Queen Anne's Lace under an overcast Full Moon sky, drawing from a centuries-old flower essence tradition with equal parts curiosity, reverence, and research.

I don't believe we have to choose between science and wonder. I think the most interesting discoveries happen when we hold both with open hands.

This is part of my own journey: learning from the plants, listening to the seasons, asking better questions, and documenting what I find.

One of the things I love about plants is that they teach us timing. I'll return to these same Queen Anne's Lace plants later in the season to work with them in a completely different stage of their life cycle. Nature reminds us that purpose evolves.

I'm documenting each stage, comparing traditional folklore, herbal history, and my own observations. We'll see what unfolds.

I'm trying to share more of the journey, not just the finished work. Here's to following curiosity wherever it leads.
