Sometimes grief feels heavy.
All-consuming.
Like a cloud that follows everything.

And still- grief does not have to erase goodness.

Small moments of kindness, sunlight shining through the window, being able to take a deep breath again.

Healing can look like learning to name the grief
without losing sight of the goodness still present.

When the past feels like it is happening in the present, it can be disorienting. The body responds as if something is happening now, even when you are actually safe in this moment.

This is often your nervous system trying to protect you the only way it knows how.

Coming back to the present doesn’t always happen all at once. Sometimes it looks like naming what’s happening. Sometimes it looks like noticing your breath or the ground beneath you. Sometimes it looks like offering yourself compassion instead of urgency.

Returning to the present helps your body feel safe again, gently reminding you that you are not in the past, but here in the present moment.

Therapy with Taylor is a space where you don’t have to mask, overexplain, or “have it all together.”

She works with neurodivergence, ADHD, OCD, and anxiety through a compassionate, collaborative approach.

She is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and anxiety-related disorders, and integrates evidence-based tools with genuine human connection and nervous system awareness.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in intrusive thoughts, exhausted from masking, or struggling to keep up with daily life - you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Reach out to Taylor with the link in our bio today.

Trauma informed therapy gently reminds us that needing others isn’t weakness- it’s part of being human. We’re naturally wired for safe, supportive connection, and healing often unfolds when we’re able to share the weight instead of carrying it alone.
