We loved welcoming the Ivy Garden Club to Skyland Trail! 🌿

During their visit, members learned about Skyland Trail’s history from President and CEO, Beth Finnerty, explored adjunctive therapies with Shelley Danser, CTRS, and learned about horticultural therapy with Jeanne Schultz, MEd, HTR.

They also toured our greenhouse and gardens and enjoyed a hands-on make-and-take activity! 🌱

Thank you to the Ivy Garden Club for spending the afternoon with us and learning more about the role of nature and therapeutic experiences in mental health care.

Thank you to the Skyland Trail Trailblazers, a group of Atlanta’s emerging philanthropic community leaders who support Skyland Trail, for making this night possible! And a special shout out to this year's co-chairs, Jessica Fuqua and Annie Lewis Gomez.
