June 2 has always meant something to Atlanta.

On this day in 1892, Grady Hospital opened its doors and made a promise to care for this city. Today, we're opening the Grady South Emergency Department and making that same promise to South Fulton. This isn't just a new emergency department. It's the next chapter in Grady's story and a major investment in the future of South Fulton.
