I’m 26 months old and today I took 11 steps for the first time. I still have a lot of work to do to meet 2 year-old milestones, but I’m making so much progress.

My sweet friend gave me some of the best smiles today. And we he looks in my eyes I just melt. If you feel special when your kiddo looks you in your eyes and smile-drop me a 🫶🏽 in the comments.

The family has been doing a great job working hard along side PT to help our friend to walk. He is so close, but as you can see there are still signs of fear.

We continue to work on improving his ankle range of motion with casting as well as all of the other neuromuscular training and balance.

Keep going family. Great job little guy!💙

CEREBRAL PALSY WARRIOR!! It has taken a lot of repetition, practice and time to get to this point. Now 4 years old-he is accepting weight on his legs and enduring longer in standing/walking. He is also doing better with these skills in school and at home. Great job friend💙

Being able to transition between positions is just as important as being able to maintain positions. They all allow for muscles, systems, and motor,sensory pathways to work together to gain control, coordination, strength, memory, endurance, body awareness and balance. Practice is essential!!

Depth perception, position sense, hip abduction, balance and coordination all improved in just 3 weeks in a kiddo how has Autism. It just goes to show you-when the work is done the results can be phenomenal!

This is a great activity to get him to balance on his involved side to work on single leg stance, hip strengthening and stability. He didn’t see it coming.🤣

Head control is one of the first skills that babies acquire. All gross motor and fine motor skills rely heavily on good head control for optimal development and function. When head control is underdeveloped all motor skills will be adversely impacted.

My friend is 33 months and progressively gaining head control and trunk strength. I am so proud of his progress.
