🏆✨ Celebrating an Incredible Achievement!

We are beyond proud and excited to celebrate Mercedes Hursh, who has been honored with the Maine Health Care Association’s 2026 Excellence in Long-Term Care Award! 💜

This year, the judging panel had the incredibly challenging task of reviewing 62 nominations from across the state of Maine—and we are so proud that our hospice liaison was selected for this well-deserved honor!

This award is a beautiful reflection of the care, compassion, dedication, and heart she brings to her residents each and every day. She goes above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of those she cares for, and her commitment to creating meaningful moments and providing exceptional care truly shines through! ❤️

We are so fortunate to have her as part of our team, and we couldn’t be happier to see her dedication recognized on such a special level!

Join us at Schooner Memory Care for some fresh lemonade on Wednesday, September 2nd at 1:00 PM!

We’ll be serving up a refreshing afternoon together, and all proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association in support of those living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and the families who love them.
