🌺🍍 Aloha from Sierra Ridge! 🌴☀️

What an incredible week we had as we “traveled” to Hawaii! 🌺

We kicked off our Hawaiian adventures with a fun cooking class where we baked an upside-down pineapple cake! 🍍🍰 .. . Made delicious pineapple salsa, and of course, we celebrated We National Pineapple Juice Day with freshly pressed pineapple juice on ice! 🌴🍍

We even brought a little bit of the beach to Sierra Ridge with a Hawaiian-inspired beach arts and crafts project, giving our residents the chance to get creative and enjoy some tropical-inspired fun. 🏖️🎨🌺

But, of course, we couldn’t travel to Hawaii without a proper Travels to Hawaii Celebration LUNCH! Our residents dressed the part with leis, grass skirts, sunglasses, and beautiful flowers in their hair. 🌺😎 We enjoyed a delicious chicken teriyaki pineapple burger paired with Maui chips and tropical macaroni salad! YUM YUM! And ALL while soaking up the festive Hawaiian atmosphere . ..

🇮🇹 Next stop: ITALY! 🍝✈️ We can’t wait to see where our travels take us next!

🎻✨ An Afternoon of Musical Magic at Sierra Ridge!

We were absolutely delighted to welcome an incredible six-piece cello orchestra to our community yesterday for an afternoon of classical inspiration and the sounds of harmony. From the very first note, the room seemed to transform. The beautiful sounds of the cellos filled the air with a sense of peace, warmth, love, and pure serenity. 🎶

Our residents were mesmerized as they listened to the rich, soothing melodies of the orchestra. It was one of those special moments where everyone could simply sit back, listen, and enjoy the beauty of music together. 💕🎻

Music has such a wonderful way of reaching the heart, bringing people together, and creating memories that stay with us. Yesterday was a beautiful reminder of just how powerful that connection can be.

Thank you to our amazing musicians for sharing your incredible talent with our Sierra Ridge family. You brought so much beauty and joy into our community, and we are truly grateful. 🌹🎶

🎶❤️ Rockin’ & Rollin’ at Family Brunch! ❤️🎶

It’s always a good time when Ralph and Linda come to perform for us! 🎸🎤 Our residents had such a wonderful time enjoying the music, singing along, and watching some fantastic guitar playing.

There was plenty of dancing, smiles, laughter, and happy moments shared together. It was a beautiful day filled with music, family, and a whole lot of rockin’ and rollin’! 💃🕺🎶

🥇 Friday Field Games: Beanbag Challenge! 🎯

We brought a little friendly competition to Sierra Ridge today with our Beanbag Challenge! Our residents put their tossing skills to the test, aiming for those points and cheering each other on along the way. 👏😊

We had lots of participants, plenty of smiles, and some serious beanbag talent! A big congratulations to Al, our 1st Place winner! 🏆 🎉

It was the perfect little mini sports event—hands-on, lively, and filled with fun! We love seeing our residents getting out there, participating, laughing, and enjoying the moment together. ❤️

Way to go, Al—and great job to all of our beanbag champions! 🎯🏆
