Join the Nemaha County Therapy Department & Wellness Center for our 8-week Better Bones class! This educational and exercise based program is designed to help improve bone health, build strength, reduce fall risk, and support healthy aging.

Participants will learn:
✔️ Strength & weight bearing exercises
✔️ Balance training
✔️ Bone health education
✔️ Protein & nutrition strategies
✔️ Safe ways to start or advance strength training

💜 $25 for Non-Members (includes the full 8-week program)

Narcan® (Naloxone) is a life-saving medication used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. In an emergency, fast access can make all the difference.

That is why, in partnership with Southeast District Health Department, Nemaha County Hospital now offers a Narcan® kiosk at the ER entrance with 24-hour access to FREE opioid reversal medication.

This purchase was made possible through Opioid Settlement funds from the State of Nebraska.

Opioid overdose can happen when opioids slow or stop breathing. It is a medical emergency that needs immediate attention.

Opioids include prescription pain medications, he**in, and fentanyl. In 2023, nearly 80,000 overdose deaths in the U.S. involved opioids.

Understanding the danger is the first step in prevention. Watch for Part II on the warning signs of overdose.
