Meet our Lead Therapist Adam! 👋

Adam Horn is endlessly passionate about supporting individuals in their healing and growth. He earned a Master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and has clinical experience in both treatment and outpatient therapy settings. He especially enjoys working in both individual and group therapy, valuing the unique opportunities each space provides for connection and transformation.

His approach is person-centered and holistic, integrating mindfulness and somatic practices while drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He believes that cultivating compassion—for both self and others—is a vital part of the recovery process, and strives to create a space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered.

In his new role as Lead Therapist here at Lucent, Adam helps oversee clinical operations at both our IOP and PHP levels of care.

Outside of the therapy room, Adam enjoys spending time outdoors, exercising, reading, and connecting with friends. He also loves sharing life with his pets, Nova the dog and Stella the cat.

Meet another one of our favorite Lucent coaches: Jake! 🙌

Jake Manusky brings four years of experience in the treatment field, having served as both a Peer Support Specialist and Recovery Services Manager. His work spans multiple levels of care, including inpatient residential treatment and outpatient programming. In each role, Jake has consistently delivered impactful support and shared his personal recovery journey to inspire others.

He specializes in experiential engagement and practical life skills development, supporting individuals in areas such as financial independence, cultivating strong support networks, and integrating fitness and wellness practices into daily life. His approach centers on empowerment and actionable strategies that promote long-term personal growth and stability.

Beyond his professional contributions, Jake is an avid runner, hiker, rock climber, and cliff diver. He also enjoys participating in recreational sports and frequently encourages others to explore healthy, fulfilling hobbies that foster balance and joy in both recovery and everyday living.
