This week we’re spotlighting our newest intern, Jazmyne White from Huston-Tillotson University! Austin Clubhouse partners with students pursuing careers in Psychology to give them a non-clinical, community-based perspective on mental health.

Jazmyne shared: “Hi! I am honored to be a new intern here at the Austin Clubhouse. I am very passionate about mental health and strive to help those in need while guiding and encouraging them to pursue their dreams. Thank you all for having me!”

Today is Day 2 of the USA Clubhouse Conference in Arlington, Virginia hosted by Clubhouse International - ICCD!

This event brings together Clubhouses from across the country to share information, learn from one another, and highlight best practices that advance mental health recovery through the Clubhouse Movement.

We're proud to share that Austin Clubhouse member Eason Graham and Executive Director Jen Cardenas will be contributing to these conversations tomorrow as they present alongside Fountain House on the importance of reach out!

We're already feeling inspired and energized and can't wait to bring new ideas and inspiration back to Texas. 💙

Today, Austin Clubhouse members and staff Eason Graham, Andrew Martinez, and Jen Cardenas Hempel are representing our Clubhouse at the Clubhouse Congressional Advocacy Day hosted by Fountain House and Clubhouse International - ICCD at the U.S. Capitol.

They’re joining Clubhouses from across the country to advocate for the values and standards that make the Clubhouse model so meaningful to adults living with mental illness.
