Now THAT is a !

Nacogdoches has officially proclaimed October as Chiropractic Health Month, and TCA members showed up to represent chiropractic in their community!

David Luquette, DC; Gary McClinton, DC; Debra White, DC; Carissa Fawvor, CA; and Jessica Hyde, CA joined Nacogdoches Mayor Randy Johnson for the proclamation recognizing Chiropractic Health Month.

We love seeing Texas chiropractors and their teams come together to help raise awareness of chiropractic and its role in supporting the health and well-being of their communities.

Congratulations, Nacogdoches, and thank you to our TCA members for representing the profession!

Big news! Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has proclaimed October 2026 as Chiropractic Health Month in Texas. A big thank you to the State of Texas for recognizing Texas chiropractors and the thousands of Texans in their care. When state officials call out chiropractic in a positive way, it’s great exposure for our profession.

The Texas Chiropractic Association is excited to join the American Chiropractic Association, Parker University, and Texas Chiropractic College in this month-long celebration. Chiropractic services can support joint health and function, contributing to more movement, better health, and enhanced quality of life. This year’ s National Chiropractic Health Month theme, “Chiropractic: Joint Efforts,” seeks to raise awareness of the importance of joint health by sharing health promotion and injury prevention tips. TCA, ACA, and the two Texas chiropractic colleges also are highlighting the benefits of chiropractic’s evidence-based, nondrug approach to health and wellness.

Garland is getting Chiropractic Health Month started in Texas!

The City of Garland has officially proclaimed October as Chiropractic Health Month, recognizing the importance of musculoskeletal health and the role chiropractic care can play in helping people move, function and feel their best.

Thank you to TCA District 5 State Director Mike R***r, DC, for spearheading the effort to secure this recognition, and to Celia Maguire, DC, of Parker University for joining him in representing chiropractic in their community!

This is just the beginning. All month long, we’ll be celebrating proclamations from across the Lone Star State and the Texas DCs helping make chiropractic visible in their communities.
