A glimpse into the PA profession! 🩺

We’re happy to have Sriya, a pre-PA student, spending time with us at Sinus & Snoring Specialists and shadowing our Physician Assistant, Carter.

Shadowing gives future healthcare professionals the opportunity to see patient care firsthand, learn more about the day-to-day role of a PA, and gain exposure to a specialty like ENT.

That “clogged” or full feeling in your ears after swimming isn’t always just trapped water. 👂💦

Ear pressure after a day at the pool can have several causes, including:
💧 Water trapped in the ear canal
🏊 Swimmer’s ear
🤿 Pressure changes from diving
👃 Eustachian tube problems

And one thing you should skip? Cotton swabs! They can irritate the ear canal and push water or earwax even deeper.

If the pressure sticks around, gets worse, or comes with pain, drainage, hearing loss or dizziness, it may be time to have your ears checked.
