End-of-year stress.
And calendars that somehow have NO openings. 😭

🎤📱 School is back in session…and so was Social Media Safety 101! 😂🙌🏽

Had such a good time speaking with my girl cecethediva and connecting with students AND parents about how we can make social media a healthier and safer space.

From cyberbullying and online boundaries to knowing when it’s time to PUT. THE. PHONE. DOWN. 😩📵—we had some real conversations!

Because preparing our kids for the school year isn’t just about backpacks, notebooks, and new clothes. 🎒✏️ It’s also about giving them the tools to navigate the digital world safely.

Loved being able to educate, connect, laugh, and pour into the community! 💛✨

Thank you Tonya Anderson McCleary for inviting me out!

✨ A special reminder for whoever needs this today: You don’t have to wait until you “get there” to celebrate.

Sometimes we become so focused on the next goal, the next milestone, the next version of ourselves that we forget to look around and appreciate how far we’ve already come. 💛

You’re still growing.
You’re still healing.
You’re still figuring some things out.
And you’re STILL allowed to experience joy along the way. 🌻

Progress doesn’t mean everything is perfect. Sometimes progress simply looks like continuing to show up.

So celebrate the small wins. Take the picture. Go to dinner. Laugh a little louder. Rest when you need to. Enjoy where you are while still making your way toward where you want to be. Your heart and mind will thank you later 💗🧡💗

You haven’t missed your destination—you’re still on the journey.

No matter where we come from, what we believe, or what we’ve been through… we all share one thing in common:

💛 We have feelings.

We all experience joy. Sadness. Anger. Fear. Excitement. Grief. Hope.

The question isn’t whether you have emotions…
The question is: What are you doing to care for them?

Do you slow down long enough to notice them?
Do you give yourself permission to cry?
Do you talk to someone you trust?
Do you journal, pray, rest, laugh, or simply take a deep breath?

Your emotions aren’t a problem to fix—they’re messages worth listening to.

✨ Your emotional well-being deserves the same care and attention as your physical health.

So today, check in with yourself.

How are you really feeling… and what do you need? 💙

We live in a world that celebrates being busy. More work. More hustle. More productivity. But your nervous system wasn’t designed to stay in survival mode forever. Sometimes the most productive thing you can do… is PAUSE . Take a long deep breath. Check in with yourself. Ask yourself… What am I feeling? What do I need right now? Healing doesn’t always happen in the movement. Sometimes it happens in the stillness and peace . When was the last time you took a minute to PAUSE?? 🦋🌸💖

Taking a few intentional moments to enjoy a beverage you love can activate your brain’s reward system, giving you a small boost of feel-good chemicals like dopamine. While it’s not a cure for stress or anxiety, these little moments of pleasure can remind your nervous system that it’s okay to slow down and experience joy.

✨ Try this today:
• Put your phone down.
• Take a slow sip.
• Notice the temperature, taste, and smell.
• Give yourself permission to enjoy the moment.

Sometimes self-care isn’t about doing more—it’s about being present with the little things.

What’s your go-to comfort drink? ☕💛👇

I’m backkkkk with another free therapy tip! Who loves a GOOD car ride concert? 🎶 It might be doing more for your mental health than you realize.

Listening to your favorite song can help regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, improve your mood, and bring you back to the present moment.

Sometimes healing isn’t always another task on your to-do list…
Sometimes it’s turning the volume all the way up, rolling the windows down, and letting your favorite song remind your body what calm feels like. 🚗💛

What’s one song that instantly changes your mood? Drop it below! 👇🎵

Today we’re celebrating the CEO. 🥳✨

Happy Birthday to the woman behind Dae to Dae Counseling!

This past year has been filled with growth, new opportunities, meaningful conversations, community events, and so many reminders that purpose is worth pursuing.

I’m walking into this new year with even bigger dreams, deeper faith, and a heart that’s still committed to helping people heal while remembering to make room for joy too.

Cheers to another year of impact, laughter, and living life fully. 💛

Drop a 🎉 in the comments and help me celebrate another year around the sun!
