October is Ostomy Awareness Month, an opportunity to raise awareness about ostomies and recognize those navigating life with an ostomy and caregivers who support people living with ostomies.
At Med-IQ, we’re committed to providing education and resources that help patients, caregivers, and communities feel informed and supported. Last month, patient advocate Natalie Hayden and transplant gastroenterologist Suki Subramanian, MD, joined us for Seen, Heard, Supported: Living With Short Bowel Syndrome, a 30-minute discussion exploring short bowel syndrome (SBS), its impact on patients, and approaches to management and support.
Watch the discussion to learn more about SBS and hear perspectives on living with the condition: https://www.facebook.com/reel/2056497758562295
