We had an incredible time celebrating our residents, families, and associates at the Bellingham Bells game. A special highlight of the afternoon was watching our very own Kathy throw out the first pitch! We couldn't be more proud. Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a fun afternoon!

Barb 💜

There are so many things to love about Barb, and her kind heart shines through in everything she does. One of her greatest joys is live music! Barb is always ready to listen, sing along, and enjoy the moment. After every performance, she takes the time to personally thank each musician, letting them know how much their music meant to her.

Barb loves bingo, puzzles, and if there's an animal nearby, you'll likely find her smiling. She loves when Animals as Natural Therapy comes in!

Her warmth, appreciation for others, and joyful spirit make our community a brighter place. We are so grateful to have Barb as part of our Silverado family.

We love to celebrate together! 🤠💙 It’s always nice for residents, associates, and family members to come together and enjoy quality time with one another. We had a wonderful time at this Western-themed event in our courtyard, filled with great company, fun activities, and plenty of smiles. Tonight we are cruising around Bellingham Bay with Dementia Support Northwest for their 43rd anniversary cruise to bring awareness to memory loss.

Check out this AMAZING family. Nothing better than seeing multiple generations come together to support dementia awareness.

A new chapter begins at Silverado.

This month, we proudly welcomed Wayne Sanner as our new Chief Executive Officer and President, as our founder, Loren Shook, stepped into the role of Executive Chairman and Founder.

For nearly 30 years, Loren led Silverado with one guiding belief: every person deserves to be treated with dignity, purpose, and love. That belief became who we are.

That legacy now moves forward. Wayne brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership and the same commitment to the people at the heart of everything we do.

Join us in celebrating Loren's incredible impact, and in welcoming Wayne to this next era. The future is bright and together, we'll keep changing lives with purpose, compassion, and excellence.

Every community has someone who quietly makes it a little brighter, and for us, one of those people is John.

As the leader of our exercise class, John inspires others to stay active, have fun, and encourage one another every step of the way. His positive attitude and welcoming spirit make each class something our residents look forward to. John says, "I enjoy the people and love seeing their progress!"

John also serves as one of our Resident Ambassadors, always taking the time to greet new residents with a warm smile, answer questions, and help them feel at home from day one. His kindness, compassion, and genuine care for others embody what community is all about.
