This week, we celebrated two amazing women in our community. Joanne turned 102 on Monday, and Betty turned 103 on Tuesday! These two women are the definition of LifeMinded living. What an amazing day to be outside giving back! We had such a great time getting our hands dirty at the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association planting party, helping pot native trees and shrubs for future restoration projects. It felt especially special to do this work under such beautiful sunshine—we’re so lucky for days like this! Big thanks to NSEA for all the incredible work they do and for letting us be a small part of it.

Yesterday we watched the launch of NASA’s Artemis II mission- the first human deep-space flight in over 50 years, with our very own rocket scientist, resident Tim Harmon in the crowd. 57 years ago, Tim watched Apollo 11 lift off on its historic journey to the Moon. Tim worked on the Lunar Module that would lift the astronauts off the lunar surface during that very mission. With lessons on what was happening every step of the way, it was amazing to watch, and understand a successful launch!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! Looks like some sneaky leprechauns stopped by overnight… 🍀 They left behind gold coins scattered around the building.. along with a few hidden pots of gold for everyone to enjoy!

What a wonderful afternoon! We’re so lucky that Kenna, our Programs staff (and assistant director at Evolution Dance Studio), brought their elite competition team to perform for us. These talented kids are an absolute joy to watch!
