People flourish in the right environments.
In my role as an executive coach, I've worked with C-suite clients at Fortune 100 companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.
I see the same pattern: leaders who actually want to lead are stuck in reactive mode.
Why? Typically, it’s because of their environment.

I can relate.
In the early 2000s, I worked in San Francisco's booming tech economy.
I learned all about high-pressure deadlines, the importance of teamwork, and complex workplace dynamics.
-----
I noticed how people flourished in well-run, functional companies and suffered in dysfunctional ones.
When people were flourishing, I took note of the environments that made that possible.
While no environment is perfect, it’s important to choose one that doesn’t leave you feeling stuck.
-----
That’s why when I work with my clients, we focus on strategies to help them feel better within their environment.
How to ask for what you want, how to set boundaries, how to flourish within the rules and culture of the workplace environment.

The photo collage in this post is a brief collection of memories from presentations, workshops, and meetings where my clients activated that feeling of flourishing, then carried it back into the real world and made positive changes.
