A lot is happening at Harbor right now, and we wanted to give everyone a little update. 💜
We’ve been doing some behind-the-scenes work to make Harbor easier to navigate, easier to reach, and ready for the next season of growth.
A few things to know:
✨ Our office manager is available Monday–Thursday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM for scheduling, questions, and general office support.
✨ Therapy appointments may be available Monday–Thursday from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM. Weekend appointments and after-hours telehealth may also be available by request and clinician availability.
✨ Please remember to sign in when you arrive for your appointment. Even if your therapist knows you’re coming, signing in helps us know you’re here and keeps the office running smoothly.
✨ We are transitioning to SimplePractice. This will give us a much more streamlined system for scheduling, paperwork, communication, billing, and client access. There may be a little learning curve while we make the change, but we are really excited about what it will allow us to do.
✨ We’re expanding! Harbor is getting ready to grow across the hall, which means more space and more providers. We’ll be introducing additional clinicians and services this fall, and we cannot wait to share more as everything comes together.
✨ You may also notice some changes to our website and page. We’ve been updating our information, specialties, services, hours, and provider bios so that what you see online actually reflects the Harbor that exists today.
When Harbor began, the idea was simple: people need a safe place to come in, rest, do meaningful work, and eventually head back out into their lives a little more equipped for whatever comes next.
That part hasn’t changed.
What has changed is how much Harbor has grown, how many different people and families we are now able to serve, and how deeply rooted we have become in the Birmingham and Chelsea communities.
We are incredibly grateful to the clients, families, physicians, schools, churches, community partners, and friends who have trusted us, referred to us, encouraged us, and helped Harbor grow.
There is a lot more coming, and we’re really excited about where we’re headed.
Thank you for letting us be part of this community. ⚓️💜
And because apparently growth is exhausting, Pippa would also like everyone to know she is navigating all of these changes the only way she knows how: slightly disheveled, mildly suspicious, and still committed to supervising from the couch. 😂
