At Vision Research Corporation, our screening results are showing the same trend: myopia (nearsightedness) is increasing among children. While increased screen time often receives the most attention, reduced time spent outdoors each day may be an equally important factor.

Parents, educators, and school administrators all have an opportunity to encourage healthy habits by promoting outdoor play and balancing screen use. Small changes today may help protect children's vision for years to come.

📚👓 August is National Vision & Learning Month! 👓📚

Did you know that 80% of what a child learns is through vision? Undetected vision problems can hinder a child’s ability to read, write, and succeed in school.

At Vision Research, we’re committed to helping children see clearly so they can reach their full potential. This month is the perfect time to raise awareness and schedule a vision screening or eye exam for the students in your life.
